How can I join Team Total and have Total as the sponsor for my crew / project? 
To join Team Total, you must apply on this website. You create a personal space with a login and password that will allow you to access your application file: the file should contain your motivations, the attachments requested (CV and application sports form according to the grant you are applying for) and any documents you deem useful to support your application.
You can change the information submitted at any time up to the closing day.
After the closing date for files, the files will be voted on by Internet users. The jury will consider the results of the vote in the selection of finalists.
2) We've never participated in the Raid Centrale Paris or the EDHEC Sailing Race before. What are our chances of being selected by Total?
Your past participation is of no importance; what matters is the motivation of the team and your sports / sailing skills! To put all the odds on your side, see the Making a success of your application section
3) What are the phases of the contest?
Phase 1
Online submission of applications
Your goal? Create your personal space, explain your motivations and present your project to the Total selection committee.
Phase 2
On-line voting by the public (From 19 December 2011).
Collect the greatest number of votes to show the jury your motivation: create as much buzz as possible around your project to promote it!
Phase 3: Finalist applications announced
• Sky Grants: 29 March
• Land Grants: Raid Centrale Paris: There is no final
• Sea Grants: 9 February
• Go For It Grants: 8 March
Phase 4: Finals
• Sky Grants: 4 April 2012
• Sea Grants: 15 February 2012
• Go For It Grants: 14 March 2012
• There will be no final for Land Grants. Representatives of the jury will be present during the Prologue of the ECP Raid on 25 February for students who wish to meet them.
For the Sky, Sea and Go For It Grants, the team / project manager or a team representative as you wish will defend the project at the Group's head office.
Phase 5: Announcement of teams selected

Does Total have to be my exclusive sponsor? The winning teams / projects can have other sponsors as long as they are not involved in the oil industry or associated industries (brand of lubricants, for example).
Please note that for the Sea Grants to take part in the EDHEC Sailing Race, the partnership is exclusive with respect to the branding of the boat (with the colours of Total and school team only) and clothing.

Must I pre-register my team with the organisers of the Raid or the EDHEC Sailing Race? Above all, do not forget to pre-register your team with the various organisers! For the ECP Raid and the EDHEC Sailing Race, your pre-registration fees will be refunded if you are part of Team Total.

How does the public voting work? The public will vote for their favourite project online. To do so, Internet users will select the team / project for which they want to vote, indicating their email address, name, first name and school and a word of encouragement if they so wish.
Please note that each person may vote only once!
Temporary and anonymous email addresses will be considered invalid (such as youumail.com; youpymail.com; yopmail.com; brefmail.com; mailcatch.com; yopmail.fr; yopmail.net; cool.fr.nf; jetable.fr.nf; nospam.ze.tc; nomail.xl.cx; mega.zik.dj; speed.1s.fr; courriel.fr.nf; moncourrier.fr.nf; monemail.fr.nf; monmail.fr.nf, etc.), and emails from domains specially created / registered for the event.
